On the 12th November 2011, the much awaited WBO Welterweight boxing championship between Juan Manuel Marquez II and Manny Pacquiao happens at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Boxing enthusiasts from the entire world are hoping to be present at this fight, and tickets have been selling like hot cakes.

If you are in New York, there is a variety of ways to travel to Las Vegas in time to witness the fight:

Firstly, you could fly to Las Vegas from New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport, which is a reasonably cheap option because they are national flights. The flight time between New York and Las Vegas is around 5 hours.

Secondly, you could take a Greyhound. This can be really interesting if you are not from the States, as there is nothing quite as American as the Greyhound of course. You can also get interesting discounts on the Greyhound particularly if you are in the military of have either a student or veteran advantage card. However, the journey between New York and Las Vegas takes around 2 days and 12 hours and includes two transfers. Prices aren’t cheap either and you may actually be better off flying, particularly on national flights.

Thirdly, it is possible to travel between New York and Las Vegas by train. This is possibly the most expensive option and also takes the longest, at around 72 hours. You would need to travel from New York to Washington, then on to Chicago followed by Los Angeles, from where you will be able to take the train to Las Vegas.

As you can see, if you want to be present at the epic fight, your best and probably cheapest option is to fly. Unless of course you want to take the opportunity to also see more of the United States. If you decide to remain at home you can watch Pacquiao Marquez live online!

Whenever you’re just feeling down trodden, or even if you’re feeling good but you’re looking for some variety in your life, it can be great to plan short breaks to get away from your daily routine. The refreshment and rejuvenation can be empowering, especially after you return home.

The first thing to do is consider your budget and your time frame. Do you have a weekend, or a 4 day break, perhaps even a whole week? Is it a fixed week or weekend that you can leave, or is it something that you can give some flexibility to? If you can adjust the time frame based on your own needs, you’re already off to a great start when trying to save money, because many tourist locales have fantastic deals for visitors during the off season. Don’t pick a holiday weekend or prime travelling time, just go the weekend before or after, and save a ton of money.

After you know the time frame, just decide how much you can really afford. Browse the Internet to look for deals and get a feel for standard price ranges. Also, make sure to check the package deals carefully to see what they include. Do they offer tickets and travel arrangements once you get there? What meals are included at the hotel, and are you really going to eat there? Don’t underestimate the additional expenses of a trip.

The new feature-length documentary from Relentless Energy Drink, ‘Lives of the Artists: Follow Me Down’ explores a theme that anyone driven by some immeasurable passion will recognise — that there are no easy rides in life.
Enter the twisted and unpredictable realm of intense personal obsession and heroic artistic pursuit as we journey to the ends of the earth for the second chapter in our award-winning cinematic adventure, Lives of the Artists.
Featuring James Lavelle and UNKLE and legendary freeriders Jeremy Jones and Xavier De Le Rue, ‘Follow Me Down’ explores a theme that anyone driven by some immeasurable passion will recognise — that there are no easy rides in life.
We travel to Antarctica, spurning the usual ‘heli-drop and ride’, big-mountain approach in search of the more visceral rewards that come with scaling each near-vertical face on foot. And we join UNKLE on tour in Tokyo, St. Petersburg and London, immersing ourselves in the uncompromising sounds and beliefs of a pioneering musical outfit that has strived to push the boundaries of artistic expression while retaining total integrity for close to 20 years.
The film vividly merges two disparate stories from entirely different worlds into one beautiful and compelling tribute to human perseverance.
The soundtrack to the film, scored exclusively by Unkle. Inspired by dreamy experimental electronica, sixties soundtracks and the ambient masterwerks of Brian Eno, the score act as an extraordinary tribute to the inward-looking nature of the film, as well as the vast and imposing locations where it was shot. A dark menace lurks beneath the surface of both soundtrack and film.

If you are about to tie the knot, and are thinking of something more special and unique, here are a few places you can consider to make your wedding ceremony an unforgettable event. Not only that, but these places make good travel sites for you and your new spouse:

1) The Wakaya Club, Fiji

Want to make it an ultra-private event? This place is the perfect excuse, as it can only accommodate 12 couples. An amazing beachside resort, you and your loved one can laze around in the beach right after the ceremony.

2) Inverlochy Castle, Fort William, Scotland

A castle endorsed by Queen Victoria herself (“I never saw a lovelier or more romantic spot”), its rooms enable a direct view of Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain. After your ceremony, you can enjoy mountain biking, white water rafting, hiking, golfing, skiing, and off-road driving. What better place to get married and have an enjoyable time than this amazing castle?

3) Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Australia

Uluru is a sacred site for the Aboriginal people of Australia, and the sacred stone in the middle has drawn couples from all over the world. There are several resorts bordering the place, where you can stay at during and after the marriage.

4) Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Travel to this wildlife which is home to 25, 000 animals and get married at the world’s largest unbroken caldera. This is perfect for the nature-loving couple.

Celebrities such as Madonna and Celine Dion have chosen these spots to get married. If you want a place where you can marry with style and remember it as an unforgettable event, as well as have the perfect place to travel for a newly-wed couple, choose one of these locations as you begin a lifetime with your partner.
