Fishing is an excellent way to relax and connect with mother earth. The options for people who want to fish range across a wide variety of fishing methods. Fishing from a boat is a valid approach for a variety of fresh and saltwater fish. Stream and river fishing is also a great way to land some keepers. Whatever the preferred method, fishing can put some food on the table as well as taking some stress of your shoulders.

When people seek to fish the options for getting it done are wide and variable. The location of the fishing hole is a determining factor in the overall approach. Fishing in streams can be a beautiful experience because they are usually located in unspoiled areas that beg for your attention. By setting up camp in remote locations, individuals are able to access the streams easily.

Camping requires a series of basic provisions including tents. Before shopping an individual should get a firm grip on the intended function of the gear. If a casual trip is expected there is no need to go overboard with the gear purchased. Most reasonable campsites are well served by basic gear of a moderate quality and price. Shopping at a reputable retailer of quality gear will provide a great chance for success.

Crater Lake was formed from a violent volcanic past of Mount Mazama 7700 years ago. What was left after the mountain collapsed was a steaming caldera that has taken centuries of snow and rain to create what you can find today, a lake in the purest form. The picturesque lake with its deep blue color has views no other place on earth offers.

Crater Lake National Park remains open year-round offering many activities. Weather is not always predictable so it plays a dramatic role when planning a trip to Crater Lake. Winter snow usually starts in October and most places still have snow until June the following year. The snow-covered wilderness receives on average of 533 inches of snow annually. All roads are closed during the winter besides two, Highway 62 and the Road to the Rim. Summer season is short and sweet it’s usually warm and dry with cool nights.

Popular year-round activities include camping, hiking and fishing. Camping areas close by early October but with a permit you are able to camp in the back-country. This is best left to a great outdoors man. Hiking trails cover more than 90 miles and the hikers get the most magnificent views of the lake. No fishing license is required and fishing year-round is allowed when weather permits just stay inside the boundaries of the park. Fishing is abundant with the favorites being Rainbow Trout and Kokanee Salmon.

There is no need for certified scuba divers to go to an ocean to dive, they can do it at Crater Lake for free with a permit. The cool, clear water holds a breathtaking adventure.

Volcano Boat Cruises offers a relaxing cruise traveling counter-clockwise around the perimeter of Crater Lake. A magnificent perspective of the lake is a photographer’s dream. There is a small downsize, a 45 minute strenuous hike on a 1.1 mile trail with a drop of approximately 700-feet.

For hundreds of years people has been inspired by Crater Lakes for its beauty and history. It’s a reminisce of the past looking tranquil and untouched by man. Tim at www.allpro.com

The new feature-length documentary from Relentless Energy Drink, ‘Lives of the Artists: Follow Me Down’ explores a theme that anyone driven by some immeasurable passion will recognise — that there are no easy rides in life.
Enter the twisted and unpredictable realm of intense personal obsession and heroic artistic pursuit as we journey to the ends of the earth for the second chapter in our award-winning cinematic adventure, Lives of the Artists.
Featuring James Lavelle and UNKLE and legendary freeriders Jeremy Jones and Xavier De Le Rue, ‘Follow Me Down’ explores a theme that anyone driven by some immeasurable passion will recognise — that there are no easy rides in life.
We travel to Antarctica, spurning the usual ‘heli-drop and ride’, big-mountain approach in search of the more visceral rewards that come with scaling each near-vertical face on foot. And we join UNKLE on tour in Tokyo, St. Petersburg and London, immersing ourselves in the uncompromising sounds and beliefs of a pioneering musical outfit that has strived to push the boundaries of artistic expression while retaining total integrity for close to 20 years.
The film vividly merges two disparate stories from entirely different worlds into one beautiful and compelling tribute to human perseverance.
The soundtrack to the film, scored exclusively by Unkle. Inspired by dreamy experimental electronica, sixties soundtracks and the ambient masterwerks of Brian Eno, the score act as an extraordinary tribute to the inward-looking nature of the film, as well as the vast and imposing locations where it was shot. A dark menace lurks beneath the surface of both soundtrack and film.

Travel photography is exciting, because not only will your camera be a tool to help you remember the places and things you saw, but it will also teach you how to look differently. Here are a few things to do when taking pictures while you travel:

1) Shoot from different angles. Holding a camera in front of what you want to take a picture of is not enough. Play with angles; sit down, crouch, even lie on the floor. Try to see which angle will produce the best picture.

2) Make, don’t take the picture. Nowadays point-and-shoot is the method preferred by everyone, especially amateur photographers. Instead, try to consider all the elements of the picture. Think about the lighting, the background and foreground, as well as the mood you want to create or show. In the future, when you want to reminisce about your travel, you will appreciate your effort in creating beautiful pictures which complement your unforgettable experiences.

3) Remember to pack the essentials. You don’t want to be in the middle of a lush landscape, excited to preserve the moment forever, and find out that your camera has run out of batteries. Pack extra batteries and film; bring your tripod if you think you will need one, as well as other things which will help you capture the moment.

4) Consider making a donation. When you take pictures of the place, especially if you are doing it as a professional, you might want to consider giving back to the place and the people by making a small donation. When taking pictures of adults, give them something in return-it doesn’t necessarily have to be money. For children, giving them little tokens is good, but making a donation to a school might be even better.

One of the best things about travelling is knowing that you have a way to preserve some of your memories in a tangible way-through photographs. With a camera in hand, your travel will become more exciting.
