Different Types Of Alpine Skis
There are many different types of skis you can use, depending on what types of skiing you prefer , whether you are skiing in France or skiing in a local resort.
Alpine Skis
There are many types of alpine skis whether you do recreational or all mountain skis. Depending of how many times you ski or what terrain you are skiing, depends on the type of alpine ski that is best for you. If you spend a good deal of time in powder, logic dictates that you need a powder ski; Where as if you explore the entire mountain, you will need more of an all mountain ski.
Twin Tip skis
Some snowboarders have moved to twin tips. There are a few types of twin tips that can let you play in the park and pipe, ski the occasional slope, and even explore backcountry. The curved tips allow the skier to ski backwards or perform tricks.
Ski boards
These are shorter and do not require poles, just like snowboarding. Ski boards allows skiers to change it up whether they want to go skiing, snowboarding or even skating. They also allow tricks.
Telemark skis
Telemark skiing is free heel skiing where only the toes are in binds. These are offered in a variety of widths, depending on the skiing, whether it is hard surfaces or deep powder. You see these used in slalom skiing as well.

The need for travel Insurance
If you have done a lot of traveling, you know that things can happen. Your flight can be delayed, your luggage can be lost and you can become sick while in another country or state. This is why travel insurance was created, so you can have medical coverage overseas, be refunded your money for a flight cancellation or if something happens to you and you cannot make your flight.
You just never know what life will throw at you so being prepared is always a good thing. Once you book your flight, accommodations and other activities, do yourself a favor and insure your trip so you will have peace of mind. That way if you encounter any problems, you will be protected.

The first thing to do is consider your budget and your time frame. Do you have a weekend, or a 4 day break, perhaps even a whole week? Is it a fixed week or weekend that you can leave, or is it something that you can give some flexibility to? If you can adjust the time frame based on your own needs, you’re already off to a great start when trying to save money, because many tourist locales have fantastic deals for visitors during the off season. Don’t pick a holiday weekend or prime travelling time, just go the weekend before or after, and save a ton of money.
After you know the time frame, just decide how much you can really afford. Browse the Internet to look for deals and get a feel for standard price ranges. Also, make sure to check the package deals carefully to see what they include. Do they offer tickets and travel arrangements once you get there? What meals are included at the hotel, and are you really going to eat there? Don’t underestimate the additional expenses of a trip.

Relentless presents –Lives Of The Artists: Follow Me Down
The new feature-length documentary from Relentless Energy Drink, ‘Lives of the Artists: Follow Me Down’ explores a theme that anyone driven by some immeasurable passion will recognise — that there are no easy rides in life.
Enter the twisted and unpredictable realm of intense personal obsession and heroic artistic pursuit as we journey to the ends of the earth for the second chapter in our award-winning cinematic adventure, Lives of the Artists.
Featuring James Lavelle and UNKLE and legendary freeriders Jeremy Jones and Xavier De Le Rue, ‘Follow Me Down’ explores a theme that anyone driven by some immeasurable passion will recognise — that there are no easy rides in life.
We travel to Antarctica, spurning the usual ‘heli-drop and ride’, big-mountain approach in search of the more visceral rewards that come with scaling each near-vertical face on foot. And we join UNKLE on tour in Tokyo, St. Petersburg and London, immersing ourselves in the uncompromising sounds and beliefs of a pioneering musical outfit that has strived to push the boundaries of artistic expression while retaining total integrity for close to 20 years.
The film vividly merges two disparate stories from entirely different worlds into one beautiful and compelling tribute to human perseverance.
The soundtrack to the film, scored exclusively by Unkle. Inspired by dreamy experimental electronica, sixties soundtracks and the ambient masterwerks of Brian Eno, the score act as an extraordinary tribute to the inward-looking nature of the film, as well as the vast and imposing locations where it was shot. A dark menace lurks beneath the surface of both soundtrack and film.
