Brighton Stag Do’s
Brighton provides enough eye candy for stag dos. From the bikini-clad beauties to the laid back beachfront in the summer; from the drinks at sunset to late night warm ups at the unique bars (both retro and trendy), a stag do Brighton brings ample chances to rub shoulders with a varied crowd comprising both tourists and the residents of East Sussex.
A stag do is not much different from most other kinds of holidays; it’s only that the fun is more varied and intense than regular vacations. That calls for a good arrangement for accommodations – unless there is a good place to lay the head, it could dampen the whole spirit of the merrymaking.
Just like stag parties that take place at other destinations, a stag do at Brighton also requires being positioned at the closest vicinity of the activities that made the city hugely popular as a stag do destination. To be there, you need to head to London first and then catch a train to Brighton; else, you need to go through the Gatwick Airport.
Brighton, being a pub-intensive town, relieves you from the duty of hauling around life-sized beer cases; most of these pubs are located around the railway station whereas for the hotels, the B&Bs and the rented apartments, you need to move to the sea front, down south from the railway station. For the associated revelries, it is the Queen’s Road and the West Street; these are famous venues that provide the best opportunities for after sunset revelries. The hotels you shall find here are of the most expensive variety; if you have the budget to find accommodation in one of them, choose between the IRA-resistant Grand, The Thistle and the Park Inn. For the most reasonably priced B&Bs, move to the left side along the seafront to Kemp Town. The place aforementioned is also famous for a huge number of bars and nightclubs though not as jazzy as the West Street establishments. However, if you are spending more than one evening at Brighton and enjoying a stag weekend, it is best to spend the first evening at Kemp Town while moving gradually towards the Queen’s Road and West Street for the subsequent ones. Clean fun at its best; a stag do at Brighton is not going to attract even a frown from would-be-brides and shall be a nice subject to discuss even during the honeymoon.
